Reliable Aircraft Service and Maintenance

Aircraft Inspection & Maintenance Policy

1. Inspection Labor & Scope

To ensure a thorough and efficient service, our flat-fee inspection labor includes:

  • Comprehensive Inspection: Full labor for the required inspection process.
  • Routine Servicing: Oil change, filter replacement, and wheel bearing repack.
  • Compliance Review: Comprehensive Airworthiness Directive (A.D.) research.
    • Note: Additional labor may apply if A.D. logs have not been updated within the last 24 months.

Exclusions:

  • Consumables & Parts: Oil, filters, O-rings, etc.
  • Compliance Labor: Actual labor and parts required to remedy A.D. discrepancies.
  • Additional Work: Repairs, unscheduled maintenance, or discretionary services.

2. Preparation & Documentation

To ensure a timely start and protect your property, please adhere to the following:

Aircraft Contents: * Personal Items: Please remove all personal belongings prior to drop-off. We are not responsible for items left in the aircraft.

  • Inventory Service: A formal inventory of aircraft contents can be performed upon request for a nominal fee.

Required Documentation:Please provide the following original documents at drop-off to avoid inspection delays:

  • Pilot Operating Handbook (POH)
  • Airworthiness Certificate & Weight and Balance Data
  • Current A.D. Log (updated within 2 years)
  • Complete Airframe, Engine, and Propeller Logbooks

3. Workflow & Invoicing Timeline

Our structured billing process ensures transparency and helps you manage your maintenance budget effectively:

  1. Inspection Phase: Upon completion of the inspection, you will receive an invoice for the base labor and consumables (oil, filters). Payment is due upon receipt.
  2. Discrepancy Estimate: Within 48–72 hours, you will receive a detailed estimate for all required corrective actions.
  3. Parts & Logistics: Once you approve the repairs, a parts invoice is issued and due immediately to facilitate ordering.
  4. Final Release: Upon completion of all work, a final invoice for remaining labor and shipping will be issued. All invoices must be settled in full prior to aircraft release.

4. Specialized Services

  • Pre-Purchase Inspections: Conducted at 80% of the standard Annual fee. If the aircraft is purchased and the remaining 20% is paid within 5 days, we will convert the service into a full Annual Inspection.
  • Phase Inspections: We specialize in Phase Inspection Programs for turbine aircraft like the King Air. We can also draft and secure FAA approval for customized programs.
  • Experimental Aircraft: Condition inspections are priced with the expectation that the owner handles opening and closing the aircraft. Our team can perform this for an additional fee.

5. Facility Policies & Fees

  • Completion: Maintenance is officially complete only when a dated and signed log entry is provided.
  • Aircraft Cleaning: We provide a complimentary wipe-down of the cowlings, propeller, and windshield. Full detailing is available as a separate service.
  • Post-Invoicing Grace Period: A 3-day grace period is provided after the final invoice is sent. Thereafter, a 5% late fee and a $125/day storage fee will apply.
  • Storage Disclaimer: We cannot guarantee indoor hangar storage during the maintenance window; aircraft may be staged outdoors during or after service.

Hourly rates

Labor rate Airplane      $ 115.00

Labor rate Helicopter  $ 135.00

Labor rate Avionics      $ 125.00

Labor rate AOG               $ 150.00, 2hr. minimum

1. Labor Rate: Airplane ($115.00/hr)

This is our standard rate for fixed-wing, reciprocating (piston) engine aircraft. It covers the broad spectrum of general maintenance required to keep an airplane airworthy.

  • Scope: Includes 100-hour and annual inspections, structural repairs, engine troubleshooting, and routine servicing like oil changes and brake replacements.
  • Why this rate: Fixed-wing piston aircraft are the backbone of general aviation. This competitive rate reflects the standard mechanical skills (A&P) required for traditional airframe and powerplant work.

2. Labor Rate: Helicopter ($135.00/hr)

Maintaining rotorcraft is inherently more complex than fixed-wing aircraft due to the intricate nature of the rotor system and transmission.

  • Scope: Focuses on dynamic components such as the main and tail rotor hubs, gearboxes, drive shafts, and complex flight control linkages.
  • Why this rate: Helicopter mechanics require specialized training to handle the high-vibration environment and tighter tolerances of rotorcraft. The higher rate accounts for the increased responsibility and technical precision needed to ensure the safety of these "dynamic-heavy" machines.

3. Labor Rate: Avionics ($125.00/hr)

This rate applies to work involving the "brains" of the aircraft—the electronic and computerized systems used for navigation, communication, and surveillance.

  • Scope: Covers the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of radios, GPS units, transponders, ADSB systems, and glass cockpit displays.
  • Why this rate: Avionics work is intricate and requires expensive diagnostic equipment (like pitot-static and transponder ramp testers). Technicians must have specialized knowledge of electrical systems and software integration to ensure all flight deck instruments work in harmony.

4. Labor Rate: AOG - Aircraft on Ground ($150.00/hr, 2hr. Minimum)

"AOG" (Aircraft on Ground) is our emergency response rate for unscheduled, time-critical repairs that prevent an aircraft from completing its mission.

  • Scope: Used when an aircraft is grounded at an away-base or needs immediate attention to meet a flight schedule. This often involves after-hours work, weekend call-outs, or rapid-response troubleshooting.
  • Why this rate & minimum: The premium reflects the "drop everything" priority service. The 2-hour minimum ensures that we can cover the logistical costs of mobilizing technicians and equipment at a moment's notice to get you back in the air.

*Preferred Customer Program

We do offer a Preferred Customer Program for both fixed and rotor-wing.

  • Scope: Your services and repairs mentioned above at a preferred labor rate and a higher priority.
  • Commitment: Given the nature of the program, an agreement is to be formalized by the parties.
  • Send us a line with your questions to become one of our exclusive preferred customers.
